The getting-ready photos are among the wedding photos looked at most afterwards. For them to happen, the photographer has to be in the room at the right moment, and that is arranged in advance.
Contact with the photographer from the moment the contract is signed
When the contract is signed, I ask you for the list of your wedding suppliers, and especially for your photographer's contact details, since you have almost always booked them by then. With that contact I coordinate directly with them, so the timing of the preparation and theirs fit together.
The final touches, the moments photographed most
Photographers like to coordinate closely with me for the final touches: placing the veil, a last sweep of blush with the brush across the cheek, a touch-up on the lips. They are gestures that last a few seconds, which is why it helps to know in advance what time they will arrive.
The time of the grand entrance with the second look
If you have planned a second look for the party, I also tell the photographer what time you will be ready for your entrance, so that moment is captured properly.
