The trial, the morning and how it all comes together, wedding by wedding
No two weddings are arranged the same way. A bride who lives in Seville can have her trial at her mother’s house and get ready there on the morning of the wedding, while a couple living in England settle almost everything by video call and land in Spain a few days before. The makeup and hair get the same care at every wedding; what changes is the trial, where the morning begins and who gets ready alongside the bride.
For the bride who lives in Andalusia and marries in any of its provinces.
When the bride lives in Andalusia, the wedding usually starts at her home or her parents’, with the family around her: her mother, her sisters, a friend or two coming in and out of the room. The trial takes place in person one or two months before, in Fuengirola or at the bride’s home, even when that means a trip to Seville or Córdoba. If the wedding is far from the coast, the journey is planned from the start and the team sleeps nearby the night before.

For the couple who live outside Spain and plan the wedding from home.
When the couple live outside Spain, the wedding is planned from afar and nearly everything happens on a screen: the first video call, the photos the bride sends over the months, booking the date and signing the contract. The trial is timed to fit a trip she already had planned, or the days before the wedding. The morning usually begins in a hotel or a villa, often with bridesmaids getting ready in the rooms next door.
Weddings in SpainFor the couple marrying on their own or with only a handful of guests.
At an elopement the couple marry on their own, with no reception and no formalities; at an intimate wedding only a few guests come along. It is nearly always a couple from abroad who arrive a few days before, so sometimes there is no time for a trial and the look is prepared remotely, from photos. The day becomes a photo session from one spot to the next, and the light being chased sets the start time, sometimes before sunrise. Usually only the bride gets ready.
Small weddingsFor two brides getting married, each with a style of her own.
At a wedding with two brides there are two complete preparations, each with her own skin, her own trial and her own style, and neither has to look like the other. Both trials usually take place on the same day, together or in separate rooms, depending on whether they want to see each other. If each bride gets ready in a different place, the team splits between the two. Both mothers are usually the ones getting ready alongside them.
Lesbian weddingsIf you are not sure which kind of wedding yours is, write to me with the date, the place and how many people will be getting ready with you. With that I can explain how the morning would run and send you the brochure.
Real skin has texture and a real updo moves.
I work with the face in front of me. I prepare the skin, I bring the light to the eyes and I choose a shape that holds, so that the thing she called a flaw stops sitting at the centre without anyone having to erase it. Real skin has texture and a real updo moves, and on the Costa del Sol there is heat, humidity and sea wind from the ceremony to the last dance. Neither of those is a fault in the day.
So a large part of my work happens before I open a single product, and it is not technical: listening and empathy are at the heart of how I build a look. Each proposal grows from there, from who she is, the dress she has chosen, the ceremony and the real conditions of the day. That is the moment when the woman in front of me stops measuring herself against something that does not exist and starts truly seeing herself.

Makeup and hair are never planned apart: they are built together so the same face holds from the ceremony to the last dance.
The service includes the trial and advice throughout the year, right up to the wedding day. For makeup, it also includes a touch-up kit in the shades chosen at the trial, handed to you on the wedding day: your lip colour, blush, setting powder, blotting papers, a mirror and a small pouch to take your makeup off at the end of the night.
Weddings are covered throughout Andalusia, from a base in Fuengirola. Up to an hour and a half by car, travel is done on the day; between an hour and a half and two and a half hours, a night in the area is weighed, and further away it is always part of the plan, included in the quote.
The service can include the people closest to you. The most common arrangement is you plus two companions: usually your mother or the person closest to you, and often a sister or your best friend as well.
There is no single price, because every wedding has its own quote. The bridal rate includes the trial, the makeup touch-up kit and online advice. Depending on the wedding, it is joined by the people getting ready besides the bride, the travel fee, accommodation and meals when the wedding is far away, and a small surcharge for a very early start. Every price is in the dossier, which you receive when you ask about your date, through the contact form or any other channel, along with answers to all your questions.
