Do you have to feed the hair and makeup artist at a wedding?

During the morning of getting ready, nobody on the team needs a meal. The question only comes up when the team stays on for the celebration.

When the team needs a vendor meal

At a large wedding, I am sometimes booked to stay for the whole evening, on my own or with part of the team, for touch-ups or a second look. From then on, whoever stays is part of the wedding staff, like the other vendors, and needs a meal.

How many people from the team stay

It depends on what is booked. If the touch-ups or the second look are for you alone, I stay. If they are for other people too, someone else from the team stays as well.

How the team's meals are arranged

When the team stays, you are told, and the contract states that a vendor meal has to be booked for whoever stays. The wedding organisation provides it and needs to know in good time. You can tell your planner or venue yourself, or ask me to tell your planner directly.
