Full answer
Some brides ask their wedding makeup artist about the brands before anything else, and I understand why: it is their skin and their wedding, and they want to know what is going to be put on it.
Why the best makeup for brides is multi-brand rather than a single label
My kit does not come from a single brand, either for makeup or for hair. No brand makes the best of everything, so I choose, product by product, the best I can find of each kind, always among luxury brands. The kit is also adapted to each bride: if she has declared an allergy or an intolerance, it is prepared with products her skin tolerates, as I explain in what wedding makeup to use with sensitive skin or allergies.
Which makeup brands are used for brides
For makeup I work with Chanel, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Guerlain, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury and Hourglass.
Which hair brands are used
For hair I work with Kérastase, Redken and OSiS for products, and with GHD for heat tools.
Why you do not need to bring any products
You do not need to bring anything, either to the trial or to the wedding. Everything I use, from preparing the skin to the last touch-up, is in my kit. That way I know exactly what is in each product and how it behaves on your skin, and formulas that were designed separately, and may not work well together, never get mixed.
